The goal of the Ultimate Enterprise work is the UE-Model. It weaves all seven links to empower organizations and individuals. In this introduction, seven links are arranged in a trinity support, defining the core requisites for high-performance, such that an incumbent or organization stays in a virtuous circle.

The Ultimate Enterprise Model (UE-Model) is a powerful organizational creation and diagnosing tool that involves all seven links. Figure 2: Kuhn Cycle Ultimate Enterprise (KCUE) is an empowerment of the Kuhn Cycle. From Kuhn-Cycle, two periods were added. The first is between normal science (invention) and model drift (anomalous), called innovation (puzzle solving or creation), and the second is between model drift (anomalous) and model crises, called recuperation (or failure).

The addition of recuperation and innovation periods creates two important cycles, viz., the virtuous cycle (Vir-Cycle) and the vicious cycle (V-Cycle). Vir-cycle being opposite to v-cycle, Vir-cycle the product of PUER management, and V-cycle from CUER. In either cycle, they follow distinct and unique loops; a loop from the V-cycle, if governed in the Vir-cycle, is an incumbent retard in the V-cycle.

However, if a loop from Vir-cycle is implemented in V-cycle, the loop won’t work, implying an incumbent remains in V-cycle. There are two chances for a V-cycle organization to ascend into Vir-cycle: at model anomalous to re-model towards Vir-cycle, or at model crises to re-engineer the loop. See details in the eBook.

The UE Model Diagnosing Tool is an organization-diagnosing and creation tool. Triangular apexes are the three Ultimate Enterprise footages: enlivening (people link), business (leadership, management, and strategy links), and empowerment (synergy and SIA links). The invention level follows discovery, with innovation at the center, combining all inventions into emotional innovation. In business creation, leaders and managers start on an outside triangle with the discovery of people to make an organization.

This will start as a dream for an entrepreneur. If the dreamer is a PUER, the signs of success emerge, then set the business plan and necessities of the company establishment. If the dreamer is from a CUER, then the project failed even before commission. Anatomy of UE-Model Diagnosing Tool

Ultimate Enterprise Model (UE-Model) is a powerful organizational creation and diagnosing tool involving all seven links. The Ultimate Enterprise book details all seven links deciphering an organization’s performance vividly. There are three levels of organization synthesis: level one, discovery level, level two, invention level, and level three, innovation level. UE-Model levels can apply during business creation or diagnosis.

Therefore, for business creation, check on the discovery level involving enlivening (people) footage, business (leadership, management, & strategy) footage, and empowering (R&D, SIA, and synergy) footage breakthrough. Enlivening (people’s) footage, discover the workforce (people-theme) into The Ultimate Enterprise (PUER). PUER comprises zone 1, zone 2, zone 5, zone 8, and zone 9. This involves training, coaching, and guiding at different levels.

Organization Creation or Diagnosing

Must design strategy, manage herself, and check for suitability on the intended aim by investigating for social impact in order to thrive (this comprises leadership, strategy, and management links). Empowering (Synergy, SIA, R&D) Footage deals with discovering empowering business (leadership, strategy and management links) footage in order to flourish.

Invention and Innovation

Invention level, two adjacent discovered-footage merged to define emotional-invention. Merging personal- innovation (people’s) and business (leadership, management, and strategy) footages. Process-invention (merging business and empowering footages) and functional footage (merging empowering and enlivening footages). On Innovation level, UE-Model dispenses the final emotional-product by amalgamating tactically the three inventions—emotional, process, and functional—such that they balance to thrive in business.

During diagnosing, start at the center i.e., with an Experience Innovation (Emotional Product). If it is performing well, check Emotional Invention, Process Invention, and Functional Invention–this is a renewal procedure, as depicted in Figure 2: UE-Model Diagnosing Tool (UE-Model).

Diagnosing tool calls for two steps in The Ultimate Enterprise viz. Big-Picture and Detailed views. Solving a problem, an incumbent simulates a blind an ignorant, blindfolded. The incumbent must remove the blindfold first. The Big-Picture takes care to see the problem extent. Blindfolding is like the following story.

Six Blind Men with an elephant story 1.

Once upon a time, there lived six blind men in a village. One day the villagers told them, “Hey, there is an elephant in the village today.”

They did not know what an elephant is. They decided, “Even though we could not see it, let us feel it anyway.” All of them went where the elephant was. Every one of them touched the elephant.

On-Site Dialogue

“Hey, the elephant is a pillar,” said the first man who touched his leg.

“Oh, no! It is like a rope,” said the second man who touched the tail.

“No! It is like a thick branch of a tree,” said the third man who touched the trunk of the elephant.

“I touched a big hand fan,” said the fourth man who touched the ear of the elephant.

“Listen, it simulates a huge wall,” said the fifth man who touched the belly of the elephant.

“It is like a solid pipe,” said the sixth man who touched the tusk of the elephant.

Story Outcome

They argued about the elephant, and every one of them insisted he was right. It looked like they were getting agitated. A wise man was passing by and he saw this. He stopped and asked them, “What is the matter?” They said, “We cannot agree to what the elephant is like.” Each one of them told what he thought the elephant was like. The wise man calmly explained to them, “All of you are right. The reason every one of you is telling it differently is because each one of you touched a different part of the elephant. So, actually, the elephant has all those features that you all said.”

“Oh!” everyone agreed. There was no more fight. They felt happy that they were all right.

The moral of the story is that the wise-man is the big-picture view. It clears the doubts about extents, scope and oneness of a problem. The details underline the efficaciousness of the oneness, following the big-picture view. If you try to solve the details independently, failure results (just like the blind men arguing in the story).

Interpretation in relation to UE Model

  1. The Ultimate Big-picture view.

The Ultimate Big-picture View is a Kuhn-Cycle-enabled decision-making tool that categorizes the problem between a Vicious-Cycle or Virtuous-Cycle. Referring to figure 1, you notice various routes of staying in the vicious cycle and various routes escaping the vicious cycle.

Think of the failing organizations (especially poor countries) in the world; they indefinitely oscillate in the vicious cycle, albeit all the routes to escape. The problems they face solving their problems concentrate on detail level alone. In most cases, they copy virtuous cycle routes, which don’t work for them. The prosperous organizations are always using empowering footage and keep oscillating between invention and innovation cycles.

  1. Detail View.

Detail view jig-saws the puzzle, without knowing the extent (big-picture), saws won’t mesh. This way, struggling and failing organizations keep indefinitely rotating in vicious cycle, while triumphant are proceeding to details from the big-picture.

Detail view utilizes Ultimate Enterprise Anatomy as a truth compared to the reality of an incumbent’s organization.

Invention cycle managers and leaders scan for new discoveries to renew the previously innovated product. For complicated scenarios, check the Emotional-Product’s fundamental element performances at discovery level, as shown in Figure 2: UE Model Diagnosing Tool (UE-Model). At invention cycle, managers scan the latest breakthrough included in the proposed invention. Such analysis has to decipher vividly the hidden reasons rendering the company either high-performing or poor-performing. Leaders and managers duties will remain focused on The Ultimate Enterprise, whether in private or commercial undertaking, if applied as the guiding model.

Creation and Diagnosing Process

During business creation, leaders and managers starts on the outside triangle at the discovery of people to make an organization. This starts as a dream for an entrepreneur. Discovery-1 is more helpful than discovery-2 in their potential for business. UE-Model deciphers all potential weaknesses of an organization. UE-Model combines all seven Links  enterprisingly within three levels of analysis: discovery, invention, and innovation. Each level working independently.

However, its result might call the next level to create a virtuous-cycle. Integrating them either as discovery-1 or discovery-2, with inventions or innovations when recreating a business, or splitting them as inventions, discovery-2, or discovery-1, when diagnosing a business. This way, UE-Model is both a dynamic creator and diagnosis tool for businesses.

Ultimate Enterprise Emphasis

The emphasis of the Ultimate Enterprise hinges on creating High-Performing businesses. PUER Leaders, managers, and technical core transform organizations into high-performance levels. These happen from self-motivation, where they can exercise diligence, transmit trusting synergy, and confront each other wisely. They empower properly, think inside-out, and sacrifice for the community or shareholders’ best interests; specifically, they embrace virtuous cycle loops. Achieving these qualities simultaneously is difficult, especially for anyone trying to control themselves with the best-habit checklists ubiquitous in leadership books.
